This is a truly stunning part dessert service “Crescent Ware” by George Jones & sons of England. The set was made between 1908-29 for the high end retailed shop Phillips Ltd, 43-44 New Bond Street (Phillips were London retailers of china and glass ware between 1760-1929). The set is decorated with hand painted pink “ditsy roses” and raised gold bows. The scalloped rim is also heavily gilded. The set is marked including pattern number D669.

The set is in excellent antique condition without crazing, damage or repaired, there is minor rubbing to the gold some plates have light surface scratches. All plates still ring nicely when tapped.
The picture has "bright areas" which are reflections not damage.
