A unique, quality antique teapot with matching teapot stand, manufactured by the Brameld family from Rockingham Pottery South Yorkshire. The teapot has an embossed pattern and is decorated in grey seaweed and gold. The lid is topped with the unique crown finial. The teapot has no mark but carries pattern number 1345 on the base, date of manufactured around 1830.

 

Condition Report

The teapot is in excellent antique condition with no sign of damage or restoration, there is very fine micro crazing and spots of fine kiln dust underneath. There is some minor staning insid of the teapot and on the back of teapot stand.
Both pieces have very minor rubbing to the gold.
